The Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 AIEF Education Scholarship. This award supplies financial support to aspiring and current information management professionals pursuing a degree in an information management field.
- Alfred Chikomba is pursuing a PhD in Information Systems at Victoria University of Wellington and was awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
- Aleesa Hounshell is pursuing a PhD in Information Studies at Dominican University and was awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
- Thulisile Lemekoana is pursuing a PhD in Information Science at the University of South Africa and was awarded a $1,500 scholarship.
- Suet Lam Fong is pursuing a Master of Library and Information Studies at the University of Alberta and was awarded a $1,300 scholarship.
- Jennifer Peters is pursuing a Master of Information Management at Dalhousie University and was awarded a $1,300 scholarship.
- Lusubilo Saiba is pursuing a Master of Archives and Records Management at the University of Botswana and was awarded a $1,300 scholarship.
- Munyika Sibanda is pursuing a PhD in Information Science at the University of South Africa and was awarded a $1,300 scholarship.
- Alyssa Walker is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Studies at the University of Texas, Austin and was awarded a $1,300 scholarship.
The Foundation wants to acknowledge and thank the numerous strong applicants from an international field of candidates competing for a limited amount of funding.
