The 5/100 Legacy Pledge is designed for every practitioner in the information management field!
Can you donate the price of a movie matinee or a Starbuck’s coffee and Danish once a month to support the programs of the Foundation? That’s all it will take to make your yearly pledge.
Individuals are asked to pledge $100 each year for the next 5 years toward building the Foundation Endowment. The Legacy Campaign represents an opportunity for individuals to make an investment in the future of information management—and that means YOU!
The goal is to raise $1.5 million for the endowment through this campaign and we have a long way to go.
The Foundation kicked off its “5/100 Legacy” Campaign at the annual ARMA 2002 conference in New Orleans. The 5/100 Legacy Campaign is a special component of the Foundation’s endowment pledge campaign.
The Foundation invests the annual income produced by the endowment to meet the strategic goals for advancing the status of the profession by issuing grants and scholarships in addition to funding research projects.
Your 5/100 pledge helps to build the endowment which will:
- Support research to address critical issues in information management
- Provide education development grants to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities of practitioners in the field
- Foster educational initiatives that develop information management skills and programs
Your individual support of the 5/100 Legacy Campaign will help to ensure the success of these initiatives and the growth of the profession.
To encourage participation in 2017, recognition be given to the ARMA Chapter with the greatest individual membership participation. Recognition will also be given to the ARMA Region whose members contribute the largest dollar amount to the Endowment.
